Kylee + Kaylee - Three Years Old

This year has been one for the books.
fun, challenging, one of the hardest years but one of the best years yet.
We haven't been back to the doctors yet but, boy have they grown in the last year.. actually in the last month. Kaylee has Kylee at least by an inch in height, Kaylee has long legs. You got that from your Momma baby girl but that's not a bad thing. They're talking non stop, they have learned a tremendous amount of new words these last couple months.

Kylee and Kaylee experienced a TON of firsts.
Kaylee ditched the paci
Kaylee mastered potty training after turning 2 but Kylee already had it mastered at just 21 months.
They went to their very first drive thru Safari Park
Cool weather came upon us and the fall festivities began- family fun at the pumpkin patch, &
Halloween
We celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Years Eve
They had their first REAL experience with snow.
They gained a new/first friend, Brooklynn.
Kylee had to get stitches
They got their first hair cut
They learned to LOVE the water and we spent nearly every day this summer at the pool, lake, and ocean.
They went on their a 4 hour road trip to my grandmother's hometown - Sutton, WV
& then an 8 hour road trip to Donald's SC - JD's Mother's hometown.
Water slides, sparklers, & time with family - we celebrated the BEST 4th of July yet!
Converted to big girl (twin beds).
We ended Father's day with their first horse back riding experience.
They even saw Finding Dory on the big screen for the first time.
 & Church.. these big girls L O V E it.

I'm sure I'm missing some things but these are the main experiences they've had and they loved every moment of it. Our hearts AND hands are full having these two little babes in our lives, and we wouldn't change a single thing about this crazy hectic life we live.

Although the terrible two's seemed short live, I now have two girls full of sass and attitude to the max.
Threenager stage is in full force.
Kylee talks back, more than I'd like her to.
Kaylee not so much, she's just hard headed.. like Mother, like daughter.

Still in disbelief they turned three and we haven't even had their party yet..
it's tomorrow.
Which let me add just how excited they are now that they have an understanding for what a birthday means.. to them of course, they hear cake and presents.. and that's all they remember in their little minds.

Kaylee Madison
My tomboy. My girlie girl.  A mixture between the two is what you've become these days.. but I'm not complaining. It fits your personality perfectly, you are so fascinated with helping your daddy "shoot" his bow, or helping him do anything around the house. You're your daddy's world and more, and I don't think he's complaining that you are daddy's little girl.. you're always asking for him when he's at work, and always giving him the best cuddles he could receive at night before you fall fast asleep. You listen to him wayyy more than you listen to me.. let's admit, you hardly ever listen to what I say.  You want him to hold you, you want him to play with you and you follow in his every footstep.
Although, you look like your momma.. you sure do act just like your daddy.. except the hard headed issue.. that's a mixture of him and I both coming out in ya. Besides that, you're his guts. You are hilarious, and you know it.. sweet when you want to be.. always telling me at least 50x a day "mom, you're my best friend" and "I'm your best friend, mommy"
you keep us on your toes causing our attention to be on you 90% of our day because your nosy ways always gets you into some sort of trouble. I'm not sure what we would do without your funny jokes, the way you tell us to "watch my cool trick" not sure where that has even came from but it's beyond adorable. You don't really throw a tantrum, however you do get mad at the word "no".. that is not your favorite word to hear. Although, you are three years old.. you still love to have your milk at night, or your water at least laying beside you.. and even if bedtime is the hardest part of the day,
You have grown so much, and become so much more "mature" in the last year.
Mommy and Daddy love every little thing about you and we wouldn't want to change a thing.
Never stop being YOU.
 our silly girl.

Kylee Morgan
Since the day you were born, you've looked just like your daddy.. I see nothing of me in you, but here lately, I am finally starting to see your mama in the things you do on a daily basis and the expressions that you make. your attitude, your sass, the way you priss around, and give us this innocent when you say "who? me? I didn't" the way you react to being in trouble sometimes gets your right out of trouble because we can't help but laugh. You are the most serious one, but you make us laugh without even trying. You're so serious in the things you say, the looks you give, and the way you handle situations in life. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen a three year old do.
You wear your heart on your sleeve though, baby girl.. and that is a momma trait for sure.  Little things can upset you and it takes some funny jokes and some lovins' to bring you back to smiles and giggles.  When when you smile- you smile with your entire face.  Your eyes.  Your smile.  Your chunky little cheeks.  I hope they never go away.
Watching you grow from a little 5lb baby into the little lady you are today has been the greatest, journey I've ever witnessed. You had it pretty rough the day you were born, up until about two weeks after I gave birth to you and your sister. But, your a fighter.. when it comes to life situations.. and a lover when it comes to your sister being mean to ya. you just let her walk all over you, and we are trying so hard to tell you to give her a taste of her own medicine just once. You just don't want to break your sisters heart, you love her so much, and want to be wherever she is.. doing whatever she is doing but you are the first one to make sure Mommy and Daddy knows when she is doing something she isn't suppose to be doing.. with all the 'tude that you have as you're telling on her.
You are quite the diva, pretty opinionated and mostly independent which leaves us with all eyes on your sister most of the time, since she is the trouble maker of you two little babes. You're a good kid all around, never wanting to get into trouble.. however, you have a mouth on you at the age of 3 and I don't think it's going to go away anytime soon. You definitely feel the need to speak your mind, and most of the time it has me and your daddy in giggles because of the facial expressions that follow right behind.. but sometimes the back talking becomes a little bit over the top and leads you to time out or a tap to the mouth which breaks your heart in two 90% of the time. You tend to sit back and watch the world around you and take it all in, as to where sissy just jumps right in and takes off.  You don't mind to chill out on the couch and watch movies all day long, but you're not a cuddle bug these days unless someone asks you for some lovins' then you give them.. you'd rather be sitting on your own or holding your baby dolls and stuffed animals being the good little mommy you are. As long as you have a baby in hand (which are all named after big cousin Skyla), you are happy as a pig in mud.You have a heart of gold, always wanting to make sure momma is ok if she's upset or if you even think someone has a tear in their eye. You, my sweet girl, are your mommas guts, and there is no denying that. your daddy calls both of you girls "little Brooke" on the daily.. especially you. Attitude is on full blast, and sass is at an all time high. I'd say, you're your mommas twin when it comes to your personality but when it comes to looks.. you are your daddy through and through.
I am so proud of you for being so independent and helping Momma out when she needs it.
Daddy and I love you to the moon and back, little lady.
Stop growing up so darn fast.

We cant wait to celebrate our sweet girls third year of life with everyone tomorrow.
We hope to see you there!
