Today is their day.
From morning to night, it was all about them.. and same goes for tomorrow.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Their daddy worked last night and is currently working at the moment as well so tomorrow we are taking them out for a birthday dinner. where at? We don't know. That's normal.. I won't decide until tomorrow morning... or as we're walking out the door.
indecisiveness at it's finest.... sorry babe.
ANYWAY.
We woke up, my phone rang and it was for the birthday girls. Months ago we had it set up so Bubble Guppies could call Kylee, and Paw Patrol could call Kaylee. Kylee was ecstatic, Kaylee on the other hand liked it but she's not a morning person.. at all. She continued to throw a fit over what she was going to eat and do next instead of listening to what my plan was for breakfast, and she continued to get mean with her sister which turned into a screaming battle between us which then led to JD waking up and having a talk with her. Needless to say, Kaylee missed out on the fun birthday pancakes until it was actually time to eat them.
I had a plan since yesterday to make these "birthday" pancakes because these two are breakfast eating fools. So, Kylee helped me stir the pancake mix, put the chocolate chips in, and the sprinkles too. We ate our breakfast and headed outside to play on the new swing set their great grandparents in SC got for them for their birthday but that was short lived. The wind was blowing and we all know Kaylee is terrified everything is going to blow away plus as soon as you stepped outside today, it took your breath away.
We stayed home and played the day away outside and inside, we watched movies, and also made brownies which let me say.. I cannot stop making or eating.
Ghiradelli Brownies with the chocolate chips are a m a z i n g l y addictive.
Try them and thank me later.
Kaylee helped with the brownies since she missed out on helping with breakfast which she loved more I think simple because it was brownies. Let's not forget what she did beforehand while I was preparing the ingredients for the brownies.
"look what I did on the wall, mom"
oh.. thank you so much, Kaylee.
crayon all over the wall plus mayonnaise because, well.. google said that was the easiest way to get crayon marks off of your wall.
Word of advice; never trust google.
Welcome to the threenager stage.
they ate every last bite.
notice the blue crayon.. on the wall.
told ya.
did she get in trouble you're wondering?
She started to until she became very apologetic and I realized she truly didn't realize this was a no-go since she has never tried it before. Now she knows so next time, if there is a next time, yes she will be. but for now, nope.
The birthday girls have a birthday party Sunday, and they are so excited for balloons and cake.
But, that was our day in a blog post, and we hope your day was just as great.
