HEllO, BiG GIRLS

Life is so crazy, unexpected trips + things come up, we always seem to be on the go non-stop.. whether it's for my in home business, random trips to D.C. to visit my friend, Brittany.. or just simply taking trips out and about to get out of these walls. It's never been easy being a stay at home mom but I will say it has gone by way too fast and my first little babies are growing up faster than I'd like them to but time never stops so whether we're ready or not, it's happening.. we've already had pre-k sign ups.. so bittersweet.  I use to think pre-k couldn't come soon enough, but we're just a few months away from sending them out into the real world where it all begins... can we maybe just cram them back inside my belly? Maybe?? With Kaylee's string bean legs that may be impossible. She's SO darn tall, her long legs are from me, no doubt about it. JD is tall, but he's tall within his upper body.. he has no length in those legs whatsoever. Kylee, on the other hand is a half inch shorter than her sister. She also weighs less.. Kylee is 32 lbs, Kaylee is 35 lbs.. those two have always had to be different in life, with every little thing. The age of 3 has been fun, difficult, overwhelming at times & definitely challenging, but they've grown into little ladies since July 2016, I'm ready to bring on the age of 4 to see exactly what that stage of their little lives has in store for us.

* some of the funny things they've said recently --
Me: "how about you play with my hair??
Kaylee: "how about you give me a taco??"
---------------------------
Kylee: "I really like that movie!!!"
Kaylee: "You always like everything!!"
--------------------------
Me: "Scratch my back..." (repeated 3x)
Kaylee: "Mom, stop it.. you don't have to say it three times"
-------------------------
(trying to get comfy on a recliner)
Kaylee: "Let's just go lay on the couch because this is NOT comfy"
--------------------------
JD: "I'm gonna kick your butt"
Kaylee: "Cashhh me outside how bout dat?"
--------------------------
Me: "Kaylee, go in the other room and play now."
Kaylee: "Mom, you need to just calm down."
 ----------------------------
Kaylee: "dad, come wipe my butt I don't wanna sit in here all night"
(JD and I almost fell over from laughing... that has been the funniest thing she's said yet.)
---------------------------
anytime these girls say something hilarious I go straight for my notes in my phone and type it out right then. you never know what a toddler is going to say next.
but really, can you tell who our comedian is? Kaylee is going to be the class clown, for sure.

Ky.
this girl is a little firecracker. she's moody at times but yet the happiest little girl you'll ever meet, she's so carefree. she has such good manners, always smiling, always making sure others are ok. She's protective of those she loves, she was 2 minutes ahead of her sister at birth but she sure does look up to Kaylee as if she was born second. Kylee stepped back and let Kaylee be the dominant twin, she looks up to her over anyone else... and even though these two are as different as night and day -- Kylee still repeats anything Kaylee says, dances when she's dancing, as shy as she is she still tries to follow suit in whatever it is her crazy sister is doing in that very moment. her and I clash at times yet have the time of our lives together, we're the exact same person. attitude is at an all time high at times and she gets it honest.. whoops. but hey, she's also got the same loving, caring, heart as her Momma.. that can be a good thing, or a bad thing depending on the situation.
we love you, little one. more than life. more than you love your "goldie" bear.

Kay.
you, my child.. you're a hot mess. first thing in the mornings you're begging for "bweakfast and my tabwet" (aka Breakfast & Tablet) -- one day you're begging to be miss independent with absolutely no help from anyone, and other days you beg your Momma to help you with everything in sight. You're very strong willed. always trying to cause an argument with Kylee until you're separated from her.. annnnnd suddenly she's your best friend again and you "miss kyweee"
you're so ready for school, and I am so not. you are funny, you are always ready to get in the car and just go, no matter where it is but you especially love Target. You are hilarious.. always making your daddy and I almost pee ourselves from laughing. you know you're funny, you know when to say the funniest things and I'm not quite sure where you come up with any of it half the time. You have SO much love in that little heart of yours. while you still like to wear headbands + hair bows, you're also my tom boy who goes straight for the ninja turtles in the toy aisle while sister is running for all things girly. you're mommy's world, but always a daddy's girl, no doubt about that.

I look forward to the days fighting over the bathoom, makeup, and all of the clothes + shoes with you two. but for now, I'm ok with fighting over what's for breakfast, which cartoon comes on next, and which shoe goes on which foot.
I can't wait to see how you both grow up with your own individual personalities. I hope we never lose this bond and we remain this close forever. you gave me a whole new meaning to life.
I love you, BOTH.

Brantley - 3 Months

3 Months. 3 whole months of loving on you sweet boy. I never knew I could love any harder  than the first time I became a Momma, but I...
