Three Years Old.
We've ate cake, ice cream, hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken dip, and more cake. 100x over.
We chose Paw Patrol for our theme, which is their favorite. Next to a few others but mainly their all time favorite so we went with that as our theme - which let me add, turned out absolutely adorable. We used Twizzlers as "fire hoses", pretzels for "fetch sticks", chips were considered "Paw-tato Chips", popcorn was considered "Pup-Corn", Frisbees were to "play fetch" with, the potato salad was considered "Paw-Tato salad" well.. you get the point. We had a pinata, I didn't even realize they still did those.. except now you pull a string. Times have changed.
It was all around a great party, we are so thankful for those who came out to the park to celebrate our girls third year of life. They are two very, very, loved little girls and we are blessed beyond measure to have two of the greatest families, & our lifelong friends as well.
oh wait, but guess who (after 3 years of throwing a birthday party) forgot the candles?
yep... me. you nailed it. whoops.
Thankfully, with technology being the way it is today.. my Aunt Shelley was able to find a virtual number 3 candle on her phone through an app. How lucky did we get? These girls won't know what to do with a real candle next year.. if I remember. Hey, at least I was on time before the crowd showed up. no judging allowed.
Let us eat cake.
but first, blow out the candle.
2016 style.
It was a long, hot day but totally worth it for Kylee and Kaylee.
You can totally tell by the look on his face he is just done for the day... he partied too hard, I guess.
His exact words after this picture - "next year, I'm not grillin' .. we'll do pizza instead"
it. was. hot.
We came home, and no longer than we got the vehicles unloaded.. and JD was throwing up a suggestion to get the girls' bathing suits on and get on the trampoline with the sprinkler.
They didn't even ask for one toy, they were just as hot and sweaty as everyone else so they just wanted to be cool before anything.
It was all around a great day.
They have a ton of new toys that should keep them interested until Christmas.
A huge thank you to all of those who were able to make it yesterday.
