To South Carolina we go (Part 1)

We are back! We traveled to Donald's, SC to surprise JD's Mom for a visit only to then surprise her again when she found out we were also going to Myrtle Beach also. We left our house around 10:00 pm, making two stops for gas & bathroom breaks.. Both girls made it all the way, sound asleep, with no accidents and not one potty break. Traveling at night with two toddlers is the trick, I'm telling ya!
Oh, & good luck on finding a Mcdonalds off of an exit in Virginia... that was the worst when you were just needing something to munch on to hold you over until breakfast... They were all closed. So, finally after an hour of searching we hit a truck stop that happened to have a Subway inside. That was our final stop before arriving in Donalds, SC.. We pulled off the surprise.. she had no idea!

We spent the next few days in the small town just hanging around, shopping, hitting the lake, & we also got to meet our new Niece.. Aurora! She is 6 months old now, & getting so big! It was nice to be able to get the chance to take a picture of their Great Grandmommy with all of her little great granddaughters... She needs a boy in that mix.. What do YOU think? ;) I'd give her all the great grandbabies in the world f it were up to me.. buuut... the mister says otherwise at the moment. Oh well.. stay tuned... hahaha!

The daddy of the other two girlies.. our nieces.

JD's Momma had to go get me some Cajun Boiled Peanuts.. they taste like Heaven.... Well, if I could guess anything they taste like, that is what I would say anyway.

Bringing the jumpy house was the greatest idea JD ever had.. hours of entertainment + very sleepy little ladies.

Nana had Go-Gurt.. it was just like being at home especially when the girls found them in the exact same drawer in the fridge, too!

Jump til ya crash, worked like a charm.

Going to sleep & waking up at Grandmommy's house was always so peaceful.. nothing but woods.. & dogs, of course! Oh, guitars too.. but still pretty peaceful!

Finding coconuts at Grandmommy's house isn't a huge surprise... surprised there isn't real hula girls hiding out under that huge deck.
Did I mention bathtime? Because apparently that seemed to be more fun, too!

PawPaw got talked into hours of Youtube kids shows on the living room TV.. I'm sure he was so thrilled but he did it, & the girls loved him for it.. hahaha!

The girls & I met up with some friends of mine who I use to work with back when we lived in SC.
This was the first time seeing each other since Jessica (in the middle) got married, I had the two babes, & Robin (the left) is now pregnant with a baby girl! We picked right up after 4 years, like nothing had ever changed!

Lake Days with the cousin <3

Mix Grandmommy & us three together, we could shop for hours.. throw some yummy food into it and we're good to go!! Off to Anderson we went, for lunch at Fatz Cafe & a little shopping before the beach.

Time to get the oil changed, & a few other things on the car checked on before hitting the road to Myrtle Beach the next day! Such a girls day, right? I loaded these two little ladies up & we went into Greenwood to get the car fixed up while JD stayed behind to help his Grandfather with a few things around the house & his brother's vehicle.

We hit Waltz Wurl Famous Hotdogs on the way home.. It's a small convenient store on the side of the road in the middle of no where. He makes the best hotdogs, call me crazy but you have to try them.. lol maybe it's just a down South type of thing.. but they're better!

Brantley - 3 Months

3 Months. 3 whole months of loving on you sweet boy. I never knew I could love any harder  than the first time I became a Momma, but I...
