Christmas Parade/Walking in a Winter Wonderland

We started our week out on Sunday with the South Berkeley Christmas parade our small town has every year. Normally we invite everyone over, we have tons of food, and hot cocoa but this year we just didn't feel like rushing around getting everything together.. so we decided to just let people sit here and just enjoy the day with our girls. Luckily for us, the parade starts right in front of our house.. because having 3 year olds who need a bathroom or need to get warm as soon as the parade is over, it just works out well for us.

oh the difference in personalities... you can totally tell who our goofy child is and the sassy child who won't stop smiling until the camera is out of her face. These two loved the parade, all we heard about the night before was "is the Grinch going to be there?" "what about Santa?" except I think Kylee was more excited to see Minnie Mouse in the parade than anyone else...

taking it back to a few minutes before putting the hat and gloves on...
Kylee says to me with her famous concerned look.. "Mommy, I can't suck my thumb"

My girls never get very many sweets or candy, so let's just say they didn't know what to do with random people throwing candy to them in their own front yard.. Kaylee had so much candy, she made up for all of the candy she hasn't eaten in the last 3 years.

the night of the parade we decided to do something fun with them, so we made Christmas ornaments from dough with their Kaylee's hand and Kylee's foot.. once they're are painted I will put them in my next blog post.. those things take forever to dry incase you didn't know. They made their own Christmas trees, and gingerbread men.. elves too.

 our tomboy.... LOL!!
She can turn into quite the baby when it comes to anything getting on her hands..
she was not having it.

this sweet girl... look at that long, thick hair.

We chose Monday night to venture off to dinner at CiCi's Pizza and then on the way home take the girls to see the lights at the park which is where Santa was at also. Kaylee couldn't contain her excitement the entire way there, the second we pulled in she was asking for Santa.. meanwhile Kylee just wanted to know if Santa could give her a candy cane.. and yes, they did get their candy canes.. thankfully.

Kylee and Kaylee love the Minions but what's funny is they sometimes call them "onions"
I tell them over and over... no girls, they are Minions.

.....another Christmas season with my family.

Party Like a Pop Star....

.....Crazy 8 style

Crazy 8 is our go-to store for almost every outfit, from comfortable to stylish, they've got it all.
We've been rocking Crazy 8 since they were able to fit into their clothes so when they reached out to us about joining in on this fun campaign, we were SO excited & couldn't wait for our brand new outfits to arrive on our doorstep.
When I put the KIDZ BOP collection on the girls, I could have fell over from cuteness overload, the hats are to die for, and how adorable are those boots??
With Kaylee's long string bean legs it's really hard to find pants to fit her waist and still give the perfect length. I was so happy with how everything fit them, they'll be the coolest gals in town rocking their limited edition KIDZ BOP collection.

I'm sure you've heard of children's retailer, Crazy 8, before this post.. if not.. now you know this is our favorite store, ever.
Crazy 8 has teamed up with the #1 music brand for kids, KIDZ BOP, to create an all-new limited edition KIDZ BOP inspired collection, featuring the coolest trends of the season. From plaid, to faux fur to sparkle and shine - these awesome looks are made especially for kids with big star potential.

44 Days 'til Christmas

The countdown is on...
let's be honest, the countdown has been on since last Christmas for us. It's our favorite Holiday, especially because of the girls. The fun in Christmas returns for you once you have children of your own to spend it with, and do all of the fun things with... such as Elf on the shelf, playing in the snow, playing Santa Clause, watching Christmas movies.. these are just a few reasons why we love the holidays. With all of that being said, we still can't forget the reason for the season. Speaking of the Elf... we did it this year... for the first time ever. We weren't sure when she was suppose to arrive but we made our own tradition up.. when the tree is put up, she comes to visit all the way until Christmas. We'll save that entire topic for a totally different blog post..
Here's to Thanksgiving, let's not forget the craziness of Black Friday.. to me that's a tradition and I just can't pass it up each year. I always shopped with my mom growing up on Black Friday.. time flies so quickly. I remember getting up with her, I was always so excited to be up at 3 am just to shop.. and now JD and I leave around midnight to shop for the girls while my mom keeps the girls.. however, they did shop with us last year.. but this year they are just too old and will understand exactly what we're doing. We have to play Santa somehow, so they will stay behind with my mom until we are finished. Christmas will be here before we know it, and then we'll all be soaking up the sun on the beach again. Time is such a thief!

Peppermint Mocha's from Starbucks are my jam right now.
almost every day... I have no shame either.
Now through the 14th you can buy 1, get 1 free from 2-5 pm.
holllllla. who's sharing? that second one is mine.

oh, check out this cute little throwback I found.
Nothings changed.

Here's to the Holidays
