Part 28 in the life of Kylee & Kaylee

28 months... yep, I'm counting their age today in months because they're my itty bitty toddlers and I can't believe it's been 4 months since they turned T W O... holy cow, girls.. slow down! Before we know it they'll be the big 3 but for now, the age two looks good on them. These toddlers   I mean teenagers are changing month by month. Counting, asking the colors of objects, talking and I mean full blown conversations. This month has been huge for them, this has been the most challenging but my favorite month with these two because I can actually have conversations with them and 99% of the time we can understand them and it's so much better than "fgningsidjkjsasfl" trust me. It has been the most challenging because Kylee is teething which means she is extra grumpy most days with those two year molars coming in and of course Kaylee loves to pick on her.. anything to make sister cry. Pulling hair, hitting, screaming at each other, taking toys, anything to get a rise out her sister is what she'll do but the making up, hearing "I'm sorry", with the hugs and kisses is the sweetest thing you'll ever see. They have that love/hate relationship, the hate can be real but the love is even more.

The behind the scenes of the photos I plan are just a flat out nightmare sometimes but the pictures I just randomly snap are usually the best pictures which is why I never snap just one, I snap a bunch & just choose my favorite ones! It isn't always the easiest to snap a picture of a couple of T W O year olds but it's totally worth the cuteness in the end.

Kylee Morgan;

*count to 10 & finds it hilarious for some reason
*name her colors (sometimes everything is pink)
*is a great mommy to her baby dolls including putting them in time-out
*is the biggest chatter box you've ever met
*is the biggest tattle-tale you've ever met (poor Kaylee but I secretly love it)
*loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Bubble Guppies, & Doc Mcstuffins
*loves to call her sister by her first & middle name
*is the biggest girly girl, surprisingly. She loves everything pink & loves her hair bows.
*She loves picking out her undies first thing in the morning (Doc Mcstuffins vs Bubble Guppies daily)
*loves to sing & dance in the car, or anywhere.
*loves shoes.. she has a serious obsession. typical girl..
*has become way more outgoing this month than she ever has been with people
*is the most laid back child in the world. listens very well. besides when her sister gets her in trouble.
*loves any type of food you put in front of her, loves juice, & still prefers that over milk most days.
*l o v e s to tell me "NO" we have talks about that daily, that's a big no no.
*she's a tad bit shorter than her sister, but is solid compared to Kaylee.
*loves nap-time/bed-time, willingly crawls in her bed, always with her baby by her side though.

Kaylee Madison;
*is the definition of terrible twos
*can be the sweetest, most loving child, full of hugs & kisses
*is a huge mommas girl, but always talks about her daddy when he's at work. "daddy at woook"
*is always saying something new, always surprising us with the things she says.
*can count to 10 but usually only does it if I help
*loves to ask "what color is that?" over everything she sees.
*loves to pick on her sister, 24/7 - nonstop -
*hates to see mommy cry (that trick works wonders)
*loves to play in mommys make-up.. diva in the making.
*hates not being by her sister, always looks for her if she can't find her.
*is a huge Nana's girl (my mom) & also l o v e s her paw paw's (JD's dad, my paw paw, & JD's paw paw)
*everything to her is either "disgusting" or "delicious" there is no in between.
*tells us to "get offs of meee now right" we're always telling her it's "right now" one day she'll get it.
*never just says "love you" it's usually "love you so much"
*loves loves LOVES PJ Mask ( a new Disney JR show) & can sign the theme song. along with Little Einsteins too!
*is smaller than her sister, she is petite but long & lean. She has her Momma's long legs,
*Hates nap-time, hates to sleep in her own room, hates sleep period.
*loves animals, our dogs are her favorite. she says to them " awwww love you" "awww babys so cute"

Everything to both of these girls is considered "baby" including myself. They sometimes call their dad "babe" because that's what I call him 90% of the time and they have picked up on it. It's the cutest thing in the world to hear.

These two can be a handful, we have days of nonstop fighting, nonstop time-outs, non-stop crying, non-stop arguing over who's toy is who's but we never have days where we ever get tired of having these two around including all of the fighting, they make our day all the time by making us laugh 24/7, the things they do and the things they say are hilarious for a two year old. Kylee is always asking whatcha doin mom? whatcha lookin' for mom? and if I say "I'm full" after eating she'll rub my belly and say "oh, you stomach??" so concerned about my well being alllll the time. If I say "ouch!" Kylee is right behind me saying "oh, you ok mom?" "what happened?"  I can't even describe the things they say and the maturity level they are at right now, it's unbelievable because we have no idea where they learn these things from but we love it. Kaylee's most favorite thing to say right now every night before she falls asleep is "Guess what mom?"
"What, kaylee?"
"Santa bwing me toyyyys morrow"

Almost, girlfriend but not yet!

Have a great weekend!

The W E E K E N D.

It's the freakin' weekend, well was the weekend... I feel as if on the weekends JD works it drags but on his weekends off it just zooms right on by but this weekend was full of busy activities & some I didn't even make it too which I'm sad about but when I say hectic weekend, I mean it. We didn't sit down and full blown relax until the day JD had to go back to work which was yesterday evening. We had a babyshower, wedding, birthday party & on top of all of that we decided (as always) to be those crazy people everyone loves to talk about in Inwood and just go ahead and put all of our Christmas decorations up - outside & inside... yep, you can bet our house is probably the only house in Inwood to be all decked out as of right now but hey, deck the halls, right? Huge thanks to JD & his dad for getting the lights up on the outside, the girls LOVE the lights but especially the blow ups outside (Santa, Mickey & Minnie, the Snowman on the Harley) they're obsessed. There isn't a day that goes by where we can forget to look outside at the lights... the minute they wake up they're amazed all over again and that makes me so excited for Christmas morning to see the look on their faces after seeing all of those presents just for them.

Can't start the weekend without some Texas Roadhouse rolls & a Target trip, duh.

Christmas is clearly our favorite Holiday, who doesn't like Christmas?!

- Saturday -

The wedding I decided to go to just Kaylee & myself turned into a nightmare, sorta.
Driving 30 minutes out, all the way to Harpers Ferry just to get lost with a toy year old up in the middle of no where with no trespassing signs, yep, that's a nightmare.. Don't trust Siri's ways of getting you somewhere, she lies! I lost signal after JD got me all the way to the wedding, just my luck the wedding was over, so I said "forget it, I'm turning around & bringing Kaylee home because no way was I taking a 2 year old who has been cooped up in a car to a fancy old historic home... nope. SO... back down the road we went 30 minutes back the other way so I could drop her off and I had time to kill until I had to go to Martinsburg for the reception... talk about a long day. All I can say is, if this wasn't an important person I would have said forget this and gone home... my nerves were shot but I was so glad I could make the reception because I was so bummed I had missed the wedding thanks to Siri sending me up someones driveway in the mountains. Can't trust a female with directions and that's the truth.

- Saturday night -

I was so beyond thankful to be home in my comfy frosty jammies, sippin' on my hot chocolate, while putting up the Christmas tree with JD....and then Kaylee tagged along in the living room to help while sissy was sleeping because what's sleep, right?! She came running out of her room, saw the tree and said "wow, how awesome" JD and I glanced up at each other, that's the first we've ever heard that one... lol. She loved helping but now sometimes she thinks she can still add to the tree... random phone chargers, her toys, or just take an ornament and move it over just a little bit.

She had to go outside and look at the tree from out there, just because that's what daddy did.

Gold and blue for this year, gotta keep my gold.

- Sunday -

My cousins baby shower which I'm so sad I missed (no worries, her gift will be going out in the mail soon) by the looks of the pictures it turned out great and it seems as if she got a ton of gifts for our newest little family member. We spent Sunday at the Gymnastics center for JD's little cousin Kiara's birthday party which the girls absolutely l o v e d.. that doesn't even describe the excitement they had because they got to "jump jump" as they call it. They were too big for their own good, they both took off staying together at all times, of course... but left mom in the dust. Who needs mom and dad when you have each other? Hashtag - TWIN PROBZ

Now that they're getting older, they're starting to loooove birthday parties... especially a place with a "jumpy jump"

If there's a birthday party with suckers, you already know Kaylee has them all. Just give her all the suckers, she'll be content forever.

- Sunday night -

JD's little cousin Kobe came home with us, but first we made a stop to Target because more Christmas decorations, duh. Then our best friends came over for some hot chocolate by the fire, cornhole, long bff talks, & some Sunday night football. It doesn't get any better than that!

p.s if you send me & Baylee for some marshmallows, ya gotta be specific because if not, we come back with the midget ones instead of the jumbo ones.. oops.

Have a great rest of the week!

3 Months. 3 whole months of loving on you sweet boy. I never knew I could love any harder  than the first time I became a Momma, but I...
