A whole year in O N E blog post.

2015 has been a year full of so many amazing memories so I got the idea from a fellow twin momma to do a "Year In Review" as she called it.. I thought it would be so fun for all of us to look back on our year and how so much has changed within 365 days SO.. Enjoy!

For starters, this is what I wanted for my birthday.. my nose pierced!

We started potty training with the girls

We let the girls try popcorn for the first time while we watched a movie..

My birthday and Valentines day are a week apart so I chose the Melting Pot.. ridiculously expensive but totally worth it!

The girls witnessed their first snow as toddlers which was pretty funny..

We took the girls to the beach in March so this was their first time ever seeing the ocean..

They had a ton of fun at the Build - a - Bear at Virginia Beach building an over-priced bear.. lol

We took the girls over to visit my Nanny for the first time.. Very emotional day.

We learned ring around the rosie with Nana

We spent mornings at our favorite breakfast restaurant - IHOP -

The girls learned to sit at the table with Mommy & Daddy..

We celebrated Easter which meant the girls had their first real Easter egg hunt..

We welcomed my first nephew into the world..

We celebrated Mother's day, always fun!

We had a ton of family days at the park.. I am so excited for those again this year!

Celebrating because we finally have T W O potty trained babes, can I get an AMEN?!

These babes got their first real tans, they get it from their parents.. haha ;)

We celebrated their Daddy's 26th birthday!

We discovered just how yummy lollipops are..

The girls learned about their very first thunderstorm with their Aunt Hali..

We learned that Target is the next best place next to being home..

We made an ER trip because we discovered Kaylee just cannot handle being bit by a mosquito..

We bought a bouncy house aka a "Jumpy Jump" according to the girls.. little do they know they now have a trampoline for Spring & Summer of 2016  thanks to their SC Great Grandparents + their SC Nana!

The girls got to try Sweet Frog for the very first time & loved it!

We spent a couple weekends visiting the animals at the local petting zoo.. fun, fun, fun!

We celebrated the 4th Of July with Family!

We discovered how much fun it is to brush our teeth, it's their favorite thing to do.

We took them to the DC Zoo on the 14th for their 2nd Birthday!

We celebrated their 2nd Birthday with a ton of friends & family!

We took them to the lake with family for the very first time!
Although Kylee hated the boat... HATED it.

We got to watch Ryan and Brooke get married!!

I met some amazing new people!!

We had our first sleep over with their cousin Bryson!

They got to go shoe shopping with their momma... who went SOLO.. without daddy.

We took them to see more animals at the Safari Park in Virginia!

We had lunch dates with their Nana at CiCi's Pizza, my favorite!

More summer time fun.. They discovered just how fun bubbles can be in the bathtub + outside in the yard..

Swimming at Aunt Brandy's, so many firsts and they had a blast this Summer..

We migrated into BIG girl beds.. They loved them from the start!

We got to go to Musselman Football games to watch their cousin Chance play, it was his Senior year!

I got to watch my sister, Brittaney, graduate from High School..

We took a day/night to our selves with some family to go to the WVU football game while the girls had a sleep over with their Aunt Cindy and Uncle Steve for the night!

The very next weekend my Great Aunt passed away so my mom and I took the girls on their first trip to my grandmothers super small hometown in Sutton, WV!

We carved pumpkins for the first time, they absolutely loved it and were both so interested!

They got to go pick out pumpkins to decorate the outside of the house.. These girls LOVED all Holidays including Halloween because they like to talk about anything "spooooooky"

We got to go on their first real hayride where they could understand what was going on around them, they loved running through the pumpkin patch and seeing all the animals.

These little Twitches were ready to roll on Halloween, they had a ton of fun going from house to house and neither one of them were scared of anybody dressed up in anything scary.. They just wanted that candy!

This hunk took me deer hunting for the very first time, so quiet and just so much fun!

We celebrated Turkey day.. & we are oh so thankful for having such big families to celebrate these days with!

Black Friday - Another first for these girls..

Santa, Santa, Santa, they LOVE that jolly ol' guy to pieces and still ask when he is coming back to their house.. They aren't even worried about more presents, they just ADORE Santa Clause..
First for everything and I think this was the best "first" for these girls.

They witnessed their first South Berkeley Christmas Parade which literally starts directly in front of our house which is pretty awesome, and not to mention we also won FIRST place in the Christmas lights competition..

The Clearbrook Winter Wonderland was a huge hit for these two as well, of course, Santa Clause was there.

Christmas Eve was a blast with these two, yet again, here comes Santa Clause.. He stopped in to give all of the kids a present at my Aunt & Uncle's house.. These girls were loving life.

Christmas day had to be my absolute favorite time this year next to their 2nd Birthday..
They were just a ton of fun this year and listening to them talk about it for days after was the best..

We welcomed not one, but TWO babies into the Shelton family this year,
my cousin Keyla (in one of the above photos with the girls) had her little baby boy on Christmas day!

Welcome to this crazy family, little one!

Can we not forget to mention how I tried Starbucks for the first time and can't believe I've been missing out on this all my life..

Let's not forget how much style these babes have now.. way more than their mother.

The girls, especially Kaylee have an obsession with make up so walking into Ulta for the first time, they were amazed.. "Wow Mommy, look at allllll dis make up" hahaha

The girls made a brand new very best friend who they love to play with and now she has a new little sister as well!

Well, this was our year in pictures..

2015 was full of so many memories, I cannot wait to see what this brand new year has in store for our little family...

Here's to 2016, let's do this!!
