The W E E K E N D.

It's the freakin' weekend, well was the weekend... I feel as if on the weekends JD works it drags but on his weekends off it just zooms right on by but this weekend was full of busy activities & some I didn't even make it too which I'm sad about but when I say hectic weekend, I mean it. We didn't sit down and full blown relax until the day JD had to go back to work which was yesterday evening. We had a babyshower, wedding, birthday party & on top of all of that we decided (as always) to be those crazy people everyone loves to talk about in Inwood and just go ahead and put all of our Christmas decorations up - outside & inside... yep, you can bet our house is probably the only house in Inwood to be all decked out as of right now but hey, deck the halls, right? Huge thanks to JD & his dad for getting the lights up on the outside, the girls LOVE the lights but especially the blow ups outside (Santa, Mickey & Minnie, the Snowman on the Harley) they're obsessed. There isn't a day that goes by where we can forget to look outside at the lights... the minute they wake up they're amazed all over again and that makes me so excited for Christmas morning to see the look on their faces after seeing all of those presents just for them.

Can't start the weekend without some Texas Roadhouse rolls & a Target trip, duh.

Christmas is clearly our favorite Holiday, who doesn't like Christmas?!

- Saturday -

The wedding I decided to go to just Kaylee & myself turned into a nightmare, sorta.
Driving 30 minutes out, all the way to Harpers Ferry just to get lost with a toy year old up in the middle of no where with no trespassing signs, yep, that's a nightmare.. Don't trust Siri's ways of getting you somewhere, she lies! I lost signal after JD got me all the way to the wedding, just my luck the wedding was over, so I said "forget it, I'm turning around & bringing Kaylee home because no way was I taking a 2 year old who has been cooped up in a car to a fancy old historic home... nope. SO... back down the road we went 30 minutes back the other way so I could drop her off and I had time to kill until I had to go to Martinsburg for the reception... talk about a long day. All I can say is, if this wasn't an important person I would have said forget this and gone home... my nerves were shot but I was so glad I could make the reception because I was so bummed I had missed the wedding thanks to Siri sending me up someones driveway in the mountains. Can't trust a female with directions and that's the truth.

- Saturday night -

I was so beyond thankful to be home in my comfy frosty jammies, sippin' on my hot chocolate, while putting up the Christmas tree with JD....and then Kaylee tagged along in the living room to help while sissy was sleeping because what's sleep, right?! She came running out of her room, saw the tree and said "wow, how awesome" JD and I glanced up at each other, that's the first we've ever heard that one... lol. She loved helping but now sometimes she thinks she can still add to the tree... random phone chargers, her toys, or just take an ornament and move it over just a little bit.

She had to go outside and look at the tree from out there, just because that's what daddy did.

Gold and blue for this year, gotta keep my gold.

- Sunday -

My cousins baby shower which I'm so sad I missed (no worries, her gift will be going out in the mail soon) by the looks of the pictures it turned out great and it seems as if she got a ton of gifts for our newest little family member. We spent Sunday at the Gymnastics center for JD's little cousin Kiara's birthday party which the girls absolutely l o v e d.. that doesn't even describe the excitement they had because they got to "jump jump" as they call it. They were too big for their own good, they both took off staying together at all times, of course... but left mom in the dust. Who needs mom and dad when you have each other? Hashtag - TWIN PROBZ

Now that they're getting older, they're starting to loooove birthday parties... especially a place with a "jumpy jump"

If there's a birthday party with suckers, you already know Kaylee has them all. Just give her all the suckers, she'll be content forever.

- Sunday night -

JD's little cousin Kobe came home with us, but first we made a stop to Target because more Christmas decorations, duh. Then our best friends came over for some hot chocolate by the fire, cornhole, long bff talks, & some Sunday night football. It doesn't get any better than that!

p.s if you send me & Baylee for some marshmallows, ya gotta be specific because if not, we come back with the midget ones instead of the jumbo ones.. oops.

Have a great rest of the week!
