We have been spending a lot of our time outside most days since it's not getting dark so early and the weather has been decent... Although it is very bi-polar lately. One week it's 75 degrees & the next it's 45-50.. Crazy WV weather for ya!
Outside play; chalk, riding their Minnie Mouse 4 wheeler, still learning how to ride the trikes,
mini basketball hoop, bubbles lawnmower, trampoline.. & soon enough sandbox & pool!!
Toddler firsts'.
Trampoline.
Solo lunch with mom at the park.
Brand new fried donut shop right up the road.
makeovers thanks to Mommy's new job.
Selfies with a play phone.
Falling out of a Target cart.. yep.
Dairy Queen Blizzards.
Meeting the Easter bunny was not a first but to them, it was.
oh, & they give a whole new meaning to "Window shopping"
see pics below.
These two push my buttons, daily.
Kylee has been emotional lately, when we say no.. that's it. she flips out, hits things, throws herself onto the floor, bangs her head on whatever is close. That girl will make you learn a whole new meaning of the word " Patience ". We still do time-out which is an every day battle, they both hate it except Kylee hates it more than Kaylee.
Discipline is hard these days because nothing seems to work when a toddler meltdown is in the works... so, today we went to the Dollar Tree for stickers of their choice & some construction paper.
Behavior chart it is... We shall see on the next blog post how it works.
Fighting is the worst.. these two are the best of friends but the fighting hasn't changed.
Once again.. patience is everything with these two.
They are still talking up a storm.. I can't even keep up with the words and full blown paragraphs that come out of their mouths these days. They will talk your head off, & then some.
A hand full these two are but my heart is just as full at the end of the day even after all of the yelling & fighting these two do. My life would be boring without these two crazies running around the house doing what they do daily. They're growing up so fast & I know the hard days will pass only for me to be wishing they were this small again. Two is the hardest age yet and I'm sure there will be more struggles to come as a first time Momma but we are blessed with this crazy life.

I hope everyone has a great Easter Sunday with family/friends
